Educational Consultants (EC’s) help families identify resources to fit a need. Families seek out an Educational Consultant for any of the following reasons:
Educational Consultants all work a little differently, with some providing hourly consultation, some charging a one-time fee for placement, and others charging a flat fee based on a period of time for placement and case management services.
Families need to base their selection of an Educational Consultant on how in depth the Educational Consultant needs to immerse themselves in the case, as well as how much support they need from the Educational Consultant.
If families are looking for local support, then hourly fees or a one-time fee might make the most sense, yet if families are looking for therapeutic support or crisis management, then families should look to engage with an Educational Consultant for an agreed period of time.
You can find Educational Consultants in the KIDStherapyfinder.com directory of providers.
