As a clinician with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, with a specialization in working with moms and kids, I recognize the value of finding hope, balance, and fulfillment in life. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive, and light atmosphere where I can help my clients to feel seen, heard, and understood through the security and convenience of online counseling.
Though I am trained and certified in a wide range of methods, my approach to therapy usually borrows from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques for adults and teens, and Play Therapy with kids. I use my experience and training to help my clients quickly identify issues and develop solutions to their life’s challenges.
I value the uniqueness of each individual that I counsel, honoring their personal experience, life journey, and long-term goals.
In addition, when requested by a client, I offer a nonjudgmental, faith-based perspective rooted in a lifelong practice of Christianity, though my services are open to clients of any denomination or background.
